Vermont Casting Encore FlexBurn Wood Burning Stove ..November 2014...complaints fall on deaf ears..customer service is responsive (48 hours ) but lacks the ability to solve an issue with the stove, but points the finger at every thing else. $5000 is just not worth it! The stove does not suck enough air but Vermont Casting does. Just try and find a phone number..good luck! All you can do is email them and hope them understand English. It's why I did the video they could not understand what I was trying to tell them.
Once the ash box is open it flames up, close the ash box and the flame dies. What does that tell you, NOT ENOUGH AIR. It's either a malfunction in this stove or poor engineering. It's NOT wet wood or a flu pipe problem! It takes hours to get the house warm.

I sent a video of how the stove is working on February 17, 2015.
It would be nice if Vermont Castings would contact me to fix the problem!
